Blown engines require internal
engine modifications to ensure that the engine stays together due to the increase of
horsepower potential. Cylinder heads, pistons and pins, connecting rods and crankshafts
have to be able to take the additional abuse that the blower produces. Do not
install a large blower on a UN-modified short block, you may be side loading your pistons
and may possibly be breaking connecting rods and crankshafts. We have built allot of
blown engines for the track and the street over the last 30+ years. It takes the
right combinations of parts, compression ratios, pulley ratios, combustion chamber quench
areas, boost pressures, ignition retards, to produce dependable horsepower run after run,
light to light.Some people claim that they can just bolt on a blower, it may or may not
work that way, it all depends upon the quality and condition of the engine it is placed
upon. We recommend the right balance of components to make sure that everything
