variety of modifications made to performance and racing engines, and their severe, often
unpredictable operating conditions, it is not possible to offer a warranty applicable to
these racing parts. LaPouttre Racing Heads / Engines sell these racing parts "as
is". Therefore LaPouttre Racing Heads / Engines is not liable for damage to the
engine or other parts, labor, personal injury or any other damage which might be claimed
to be related to the use of these parts. LaPouttre Racing Heads \ Engines hereby expressly
disclaims all warranties, either expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and neither assumes or authorized any
other person to assume for it any liability in connection with any sale. The buyer will
not be entitled to recover from LaPouttre Racing Heads \ Engines any consequential
damages, damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits, or
loss of income, or any other incidental damages. Condition of sales are that applicable
taxes, insurance, shipping and handling charges are separate from catalog parts prices.
Shipment costs and delivery methods are determined by the conditions of the specific
delivery transfer service used. The size, weight of Packages and methods of point to point
shipment, i.e. overnight, next day, regular air, various ground services including
Greyhound/Trailways bus lines, and specialty expedited delivery services determine the
costs involved in the charged prices. Sometimes it is not necessary to get overnight
service if the locations are within the daily delivery limits of that particular carrier
and location. Our experience with the recent major freight carrier strike, allowed the use
of different motor freight carriers to ship parts and components by the most expedient
transportation routes possible. At LaPouttre Racing Heads \ Engines we will cater to your
delivery needs, but as usual at an additional cost, so please plan your orders and have
them submitted well in advance of your track dates, since some parts are specialty
"made to order", we assume no liability for additional incurred costs for
assumed delivery dates. Sorry No C.O.D. orders accepted, but F.O.B. is arraigned with the
proper carrier. Insurance for orders is additional to shipping and handling charges, and
is the responsibility of the purchaser to request such a service during order placement.
